What is Price Action Analysis?
The foreign exchange, or forex, market has a daily turnover of $4 trillion, making it by far the largest financial market in the world. Every month 300 different economic reports are released around the world, affecting the value of each interconnected currency to different varying degrees. In addition, multi-national corporations, central banks, and hedge funds frequently use billions of dollars to overwhelm and manipulate the market to their advantage. So how does a single investor collect and analyze every relevant economic event in a format that when enable them to make correct real-time decisions?
I have bad news and good news.
The bad news is a single investor can't stay on top of all the data. It's simply impossible.
The good news is you don't need the ability to stay on top
of all the data. You simply need to be able to understand the price action
because the price action will show the hidden consensus of the institutional investors
who do have the resources to analyze every relevant economic
event.
Price Action analysis is the analysis of Price,
in order to understand the consensus view of the market.
